Digital Art - Wubway

I spent all class using trying to use the smear tool to get rid of crispy pixels on the schools logo, my idea being to have the horse's head in a trough while it looked up at the Popi's Place logo. That went nowhere as you can see. And "^Lakewood" didn't live past infancy. So sad.

Dear me from the past No need to feel bad about not fully completing Digital Art 1, your teacher at Southeast was useless anyway so it's not much of a loss. Just keep experimenting with different tools and learn how to use all the features of the program. That'll do lots of good for you. Take your time to do it right, don't be an idiot and stress over it. When you don't know what just mull it over for a while and you'll think of something. This is probably your best work.

This is the vague idea I had. It is based on the hypothetical "27 Club" of musicians who died at age 27 (Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, etc.) I like it how it is, it's simple but I think it's nice how it is. I would like to add some complexity to it but I don't know what I would add to it or how I would execute it. I'm satisfied with how it is and I'm willing to submit for the final grade, but I know I could do more with it.

Since we are mustangs, I used mustangs, seven of them, to represent each group. For the visual groups, I used a paint stroke. For the performing groups, I used music notes. The stroke is in place of the ground and the notes represent dust flying from the stampede. The idea is that our arts groups are stampeding, as the whole body of LRHS is called the stampede.
